Caldera Blanca

Caldera Blanca

One of the main reasons for going to Lanzarote is all the impressive landscapes that look like they're from another planet. Caldera Blanca is one of the few volcanoes in the area of Parque Nacional de Timanfaya that you can discover walking, the rest of the volcanoes you should visit them with a bus that can be a bit disappointing, you can't go outside the bus. That's why going to Caldera Blanca is so impressive.

Although the circular hiking can be a bit difficult to do because of its 9km (around 3-4 hour), the ascent is gradual and believe us, is worth it.
When we needed a break to rest a bit and drink water (bring with you water!), we also took some photos of our latest new pieces.

When we were at the top of the crater, it was very windy, so wear a good hiking shoes to avoid slipping on the volcanic rocks.
