Building our own house in Galicia has always been one of those quiet dreams we carry with us, and from the very beginning, this house has been the reference point. The way it sits in its surroundings, the honesty of its materials, the sense that nothing is superfluous. So when we finally had the chance to visit it in person in 2024, it felt like more than just a trip. It was the closing of a circle.

Getting there from Chicago is no easy feat, but the drive was absolutely worth it.

With the tour we took, we were able to explore both the exterior garden and the entire interior, enjoying a guided visit full of detail. A true luxury, not just for the house itself, but for the way every space and every piece of furniture has been so thoughtfully defined.
